Karla Wash Bag - Velvet Botanic

Karla Wash Bag features a perfect organic rounded shape. The curved top is closed with a golden YKK zipper. The wash bag is made from a rich cotton velvet adorned with beautiful botanic Suzani embroidery and is slightly padded. It has a zipped pocket inside the lining which is made from 100% organic cotton.

This Suzani embroidered item is decorated with the manually controlled chain stitch technique of Suzani embroidery. Our Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans, mostly using the tambour to create a unique and vivid Suzani embroidery pattern. The name “Suzani” comes from the Persian word "su-zan", meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitching that is the hallmark of Suzani embroidery. Due to the manually controlled nature of Suzani embroidery, you may notice little variations from one garment to another that add to the unique charm of a Suzani decorated item.
